Mimasu Studio - "Calligrathree" Print

HK$530.00

For this piece I wanted to dive back into Japanese calligraphy, which I hadn’t tried since primary school. I always found it interesting that words and characters we use for writing and communicating could be seen as art. Though it can be quite rigid as an art form with many rules and correct methods and techniques, i thought it would be interesting to use my lack of practice and incorrect technique as a way to breath a little personality into the piece. The character i chose to write is the character for “3”, which is the first character in my family name and also incidentally a number that i like to imagine has deeper meanings in my life.

Print Method: Screen printed by hand

Hoodie Weight: 460gsm
